Kenya, my home (?)
“Are you sad that the holidays are over?” For seven weeks we travelled to the old continent and I definitely learnt some interesting things. On the positive side I felt a recovering hopeful European vibe, I realised that Belgian food is still the best in the world (French quality-German portions), I discovered Uberboats exists and to my absolute delight I saw that Cola light is making a comeback in the UK starring Kate Moss on billboards saying “love what you love”, British for: “the hell with the opinions of others”. I really liked that.

Heaven is a place on earth
Kenya is a magnificent country with countless beautiful places to visit. The purity of the environment, the spectacular wildlife, the vastness, the endless panoramas… Some landscapes have literally moved me to tears. Tears of happy disbelief for so much beauty.

And so this is Christmas and what have we done another year over a new one just begun… John Lennon singing the first lines of my favourite Christmas song always warms my heart. Finally, I manage again to listen to Christmas songs without crying.

One of the best things about living in Nairobi is the proximity of the Indian Ocean. A short flight takes you to the most beautiful breathtaking blue waters and silky white beaches.
